No device, regardless of how clever or useful it is, can ever replace any person.

Our Caretaker Robots pick up dirty/hazardous/dangerous waste, as well as disassemble discarded machines, in order to reclaim/recycle/reuse/sell internal components. The core operating principle of our Caretaker Robots is to perform their work without harming wildlife, pets, animals, or people, as well as having a minimally invasive impact on flora/habitats/biomes. We also have designs for Caretaker Robots that sort household waste into re-usable categories: bio-waste (compost), plastics, metals, glass, paper/cardboard, re-usable components, nails, screws, and assorted hardware. We have dreams of someday having our robots clean up severely hazardous waste, such as spacecraft/aircraft/maritime/rail/road disasters, nuclear waste, old minefields, and areas damaged by warfare; these Caretaker Robots would be designed/programmed to work in tandem with appropriate regulatory/investigative organizations, and could be used as tools for quantifying the material cost of wars and other military operations.
